1. Click on "Start" and then "Computer". In the resulting dialog, right-click anywhere in the blank space in the right side panel and choose "Add a network location".
  2. Click "Next".

  3. Double-click on "Choose a custom location".
  4. In this dialog, type in http://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/vis to access the SVS Web Server and click "Next".
    Note: You should not have an ending /# as you did in previous versions of Windows.
  5. In this dialog you are prompted to name the network location. This is what you will see when navigating on your machine, so name it something meaningful to you. Click "Next".
  6. You'll see a confirmation dialog. Be sure to leave the option "Open this network location when I click Finish" checked. Click "Finish".
  7. The network location is created and it is opened for you. You can navigate through the system from here to find the specific files that you want.
